Yesterday we had the pleasure of making January’s donation to Rocket Dog! They were thrilled to receive the donation and with Pupwalks’ mission to help homeless dogs.
Rocket Dog, founded in 2001, is a volunteer based nonprofit organization funded solely by donations. They rescue homeless dogs from overcrowded shelters, place them into foster homes and find them permanent homes. Their sanctuary and adoption center is located in Oakland.
Our Berkeley manager Sophie enjoyed meeting with Rocket Dog volunteer Kristi. Sophie learned that since 2001, Rocket Dog has saved 7,300 dogs from being euthanized in local high-kill shelters! We are delighted to support the efforts of such an outstanding rescue organization and are so grateful for your help in doing so!
